Snow skeptics willing to take their chances

There?s another snowstorm in the forecast for Long Island, but many residents are reluctant to believe the hype.

After this weekend?s snow no-show residents say they?re ready to take their chances and forego the pre-storm frenzy.

Tuesday night's impending snowstorm is expected to bring in excess of six inches of snow by the time it tapers off Wednesday.

Despite public skepticism, Long Island?s towns are preparing for icy roads. Crews in Islip are already preparing brine to pre-treat roads before the snow falls.
