Minority officers accuse Nassau Jail of bias
Minority correction officers at the Nassau Jail allege they've been the victim of unfair treatment and abuse based on their race.
Members of the Nassau County Sheriff Guardians announced a class action suit against the county and Sheriff Michael Sposato Monday.
The predominantly black group alleges a 1998 court order for diversity training has not been mandated. The officers also claim there is no upward mobility for black or Latino employees.
