Snowstorm blamed for at least 1 LI death

Medical experts say Long Islanders should take caution when shoveling the heavy, wet snow that fell Wednesday.

Suffolk County officials say at least one person died after shoveling and going into cardiac arrest. According to Dr. Steven Walerstein, the medical director at the Nassau University Medical Center, people who don't regularly exercise and keep in shape should not shovel snow.

Walerstein says those residents who absolutely need to shovel should do a little at a time and remember to stretch first.
