LaGuardia Airport up and running after storm

Flights are once again taking off at LaGuardia Airport after a day of delays and cancellations caused by Wednesday's snowstorm.

According to LaGuardia Airport General Manager Warren Kroeppel, 700 out of 1,200 flights scheduled for Wednesday were canceled, leaving thousands of travelers stranded.

"Friends were calling us saying, 'you're not going to get out, don't even think about it,'" says Leslie O'Carmody, who was headed to Jamaica.

On Thursday, the vast majority of flights taking off from LaGuardia Airport were right on schedule.
