LI fishermen to lobby against regulations

Fishermen from Long Island are heading to Washington, DC next week to rally against fishing limits they say are ruining business.

The fishermen say federal regulations that have shortened the season and limited the size of fish that can be caught are ruining their livelihoods.

The goal of the regulations was to help repopulate certain species. However, veteran Long Island fisherman Paul Risi says many fish populations have grown back but the regulations haven't changed.

Risi and others who fish up and down the East Coast say they're fed up and will hold a rally to get the rules changed.
