Cops probe drive-by Bellport shooting

Police are searching for whoever fired shots at a Bellport home Sunday night.

Cops say a minivan drove by the MacDonald Avenue house at around 7:30 p.m. when someone in the vehicle started shooting.

Don Brown, the homeowner?s son, says the home was filled with relatives at the time. No one inside the home was hurt.

Investigators say a woman in a car was wounded in her foot and a man standing on the street was shot in the arm. Two other women in the car and the baby inside were not hurt.

According to police, the target of the shooting may have been the people outside the home.
