Police ID woman killed in North Valley Stream

Police are searching for the suspect who shot and killed a woman in front of her North Valley Stream home late Monday.

Authorities say they discovered the body of 37-year-old Jeanmarie Beaudouin in the front yard of her Barry Drive South home at around 11 p.m. Though police don't know where Beaudouin was coming home from, they say she almost made it to the front door when she was shot multiple times in the upper torso.

Beaudouin lived in a basement apartment with her husband and three children. Authorities say they were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

So far, no arrests have been made.
