Flight from LaGuardia returns due to smoke

(AP) - A regional airline bound for Columbus, Ohio,returned to the gate at LaGuardia Airport because of smoke in thecabin. There were no injuries. Delta Air Lines spokeswoman Susan Elliott said 20 passengerswere aboard Flight 6020 on Thursday. Chautauqua Airlines was operating the 50-seater for Delta. Elliott said it left the gate at 8:53 a.m., but turned back dueto the smoke. The cause was being investigated. The passengers were being accommodated on other flights.
