4th teen pleads guilty in Lucero murder
A fourth teen accused in the 2008 murder of an Ecuadorian immigrant pleaded guilty Thursday.
Jordan Dasch pleaded guilty to gang assault and conspiracy charges in the Lucero case, along with assault as hate crime charges for other attacks. In court he admitted to participating in three other assaults against Hispanics.
It is likely Dasch will be forced to testify against other defendants as part of his plea, including accused ringleader Jeffrey Conroy.
Dasch, 19, is one of seven teens accused of killing Marcelo Lucero in Patchogue. Lucero was stabbed to death, allegedly by Conroy.
Dasch will be sentenced April 24. Conroy is set to stand trial for murder next week.
