Residents: Paterson should resign

Some local political experts and residents believe Gov. David Paterson should throw in the towel.

In the latest incident involving the embattled governor, the Public Integrity Commission said Wednesday that Paterson received free Yankees tickets in violation of state ethics law.

"The noose is tightening around his neck and it has been tightening for a while," Larry Levy, a political analyst, says.

Levy also points out Paterson's personal and political problems could get in the way of his governing during a crucial point in developing the state budget.

In a statement released Wednesday, Paterson maintained his innocence.
