3 arrested in fatal Brentwood stabbing

Three young people were arrested in Maryland Thursday for the stabbing death of a man in Brentwood earlier this week.

Alexander Santos Argueta-Ventura was fatally stabbed on Feb. 27.

Federal marshals say they arrested Juan Argurta-Gonzales, 24, Luis Bonilla Cruz, 19, and his 17-year-old sister Marisela while they were trying to flee the country.

Police say Marisela Cruz claimed Ventura sexually abused her and that the attack was revenge. The three allegedly lured Ventura to Brentwood and then proceeded to punch and kick him, ultimately stabbing him and leaving him on the street.

They are charged with second-degree murder and are being held without bail.
