Wild turkeys split Coram community

Residents are split in one Coram community over wild turkeys some feel are terrorizing the area but others feel add something to the neighborhood.

"We're for and against the turkey," says Elsie Greco - who is firmly in the anti-fowl camp at the Country Village off Mooney Pond. Greco has contacted her community board president to address the issue, but she says results have been weak because some want the birds to stick around.

"He's great," says Joe Calogero of one bird who Greco describes as "arrogant" and "malicious."
