Judge upholds $1M bond for Garden City 'hit mom'

A judge refused Tuesday to reduce the $1 million bond of a Garden City mother accused of attempting to hire a hit man to kill her husband.

Prosecutors say Susan Williams, 43, paid a $500 deposit to an undercover officer posing as a hit man in exchange for her husband's supposed murder. She is charged with second-degree criminal solicitation and conspiracy. If convicted, Williams could face up to 25 years in prison.

Williams is due back in court at the end of the month.
