Cops save 3 children from Wyandanch fire

Suffolk police officers are being praised for saving three children from a house fire in Wyandanch.Officials say the blaze broke out Sunday morning at a home on State Avenue.Authorities say the officers ran through thick smoke to save a 6-month old, 2-year-old and 7-year-old that were still inside.A 21-year-old man ran out of the home on fire and is in critical condition.It is not yet known what may have caused the fire.
