Police probe Rocky Point school bomb threat

Police responded to a bomb threat made to Rocky Point High School Wednesday afternoon, but found nothing suspicious.

Rocky Point's high school, middle school and two elementary schools were immediately evacuated after the call came in at around 1:15 p.m. The district says authorities conducted a sweep of the buildings within 45 minutes and did not find evidence of a threat.

Evacuated high school students were dismissed immediately. Other students were returned to school to be dismissed as usual.
