More rain bad news for LI beaches
Heavy rain continues to clobber vulnerable Long Island beaches on the precipice of erosion.
Officials say they are doing everything they can to slow the damage. State Parks Director Ron Foley says he's ordered 200,000 cubic yards of sand to shore up the dunes at Robert Moses.
"It is a bad situation if you like beaches," says Foley.
