College students victims of home invasion

Police say three armed men broke into a house just before 2 a.m. this morning.

According to police, college students lived in the home on Ridgeway Avenue.

Police say a female acquaintance of the residents arrived at the home and was accosted by three males. The males detained the woman and entered the house with her, confronting the male residents of the home.

Police say the three males demanded drugs, money and valuables. The suspects left in a vehicle while in possession of property stolen from the house.

Three victims received minor injuries. One was treated and released from the hospital.

Police say preliminary investigation indicates the residence was targeted.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
