Yankee fans celebrate home opener

The Yankees raised a 27th championship banner for the first time at the new stadium during their home opener today.

The New York Yankees beat the Los Angeles Angels 7-5.

During a 15-minute ceremony, Andy Pettitte, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada and captain Derek Jeter received their fifth World Series rings. Hall of Famers Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford helped pass them out.

Alex Rodriguez received his first ring.
