Tea party protesters rally in Hauppauge

The Tea Party movement has made its way to Long Island as residents protested against big government in Hauppauge yesterday.

The Conservative Society for Action organized the rally. Founder Stephen Flanagan says taxes and spending in New York are out of control.

?Especially on Long Island, we are taxed enough already,? Flanagan says. ?We have been for a long time and I think many people are concerned about the future of the Island and the impact taxes will have.?

Tea Party demonstrations are also being held across the country to mark Tax Day.
