1 killed in Hempstead triple stabbing

Police say one person is dead after a triple stabbing on Fulton Avenue in Hempstead early yesterday morning.

Police say they're uncertain what led to the violence, but a group of men and women used a knife and broken bottles to stab three men in front of 69 Main St.

One man was transported to Winthrop Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The two other victims are expected to be fine.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
