Police: 2 women slashed at Islip train station

? Officials say two women suffered lacerations in an early morning fight at the Islip train station.

Police say it happened after a fight that may have involved up to a half dozen people.

Police say the women came from a bar nearby.

At around 2 a.m., the two women were taken to Southside Hospital for stitches and released.

So far no arrests have been made. Police say there is no indication that this is gang-related.
