Cops: Man arrested for Patchogue bomb scare

Police say a 52-year-old man has been arrested after a bomb scare in Patchogue.Officials say the incident occurred Saturday afternoon at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts. According to police, Terry Nixon ran into the building as a theater group was rehearsing and said he had a bomb. Authorities say they searched the building and did not find any explosives.Police say some nearby businesses were evacuated as a precaution.Investigators are trying to determine if Nixon was involved in another bomb scare that took place last week.Nixon is charged with falsely reporting an incident.
