Conroy: I am not racist or a white supremacist

? The Medford teen convicted of killing an Ecuadorian immigrant is speaking out.

Jeffrey Conroy tells Newsday he is not racist and he is not a white supremacist.

The 19-year-old says he got his swastika tattoo on a dare. Conroy also claims he feels sorry for the family of victim Marcelo Lucero and said ?I wish he wasn?t dead.?

Conroy will be sentenced May 26 for manslaughter as a hate crime. His attorney is appealing.
