Students return after bomb threat evacuates school

? The Patchogue-Medford School District says its high school was evacuated due to a bomb threat yesterday morning.

Officials say emergency services searched the building with school security, and the building was deemed safe to re-enter. The district says nearly 3,000 students were taken out of the building for about an hour.

Students were out of the building for about an hour. Officials could not tell News 12 the nature of the threat.
