Police bust multiple marijuana grow houses

Nassau police arrested a Locust Valley man who they say operated multiple marijuana grow houses in the area.

Investigators say officers confiscated 300 marijuana plants from the basement of 49-year-old James Blatchly's home. Authorities say cocaine was also found inside the home.

Police also say that Blatchly rented a house in Flower Hill and set up a second, more elaborate drug lab there.

Blatchly faces eight felony drug charges and remains in jail on $300,000 bond.
