Report: Suffolk has dirtiest air in the state

The American Lung Association released its annual State of the Air report yesterday and it says Suffolk County has the dirtiest air in the entire state of New York.

The report measures the air based on the amount of ozone and smog in each area of the state.

Ozone measurements are not taken in Nassau County. However, based on the number of days it was ranked for having unhealthy particles in the air from pollution, Nassau was down slightly from last year.
