Police: Teen toying with iPod crashes into home

Police say a teenage driver crashed into an East Islip home last night while fiddling with his iPod.

According to authorities, an 18-year-old was trying to change the song when he crashed into the home at 128 Yuma Lane.

An 80-year-old woman was inside the home at the time. She was taken to a hospital for precautionary reasons. The teenager was hospitalized for treatment to minor injuries.

Police believe the crash was an accident. No charges have been filed at this time.
