State officials reportedly probe test results in Roosevelt schools

Investigators are reportedly trying to figure out if someone tampered with tests in the Roosevelt schools.

State officials are looking into the results of the 2009 English Language Arts tests, according to Newsday.

Nearly 90 percent of Roosevelt's sixth-graders passed the test, compared to the only 60 percent of the eighth-graders.

Albany is now investigating the situation. Meanwhile, special outside monitors were brought in to supervise this week's 2010 exams in elementary schools.
