Sayville parents protest neighborhood sex offenders

Parents in Sayville protested Friday night after learning that two convicted sex offenders were living in their neighborhood.

Parents say the offenders are currently living nearby at the Sayville Motor Lodge and are worried for their children?s safety. They have demanded the motel owners kick the men out.

According to Leg. William Lindsay, there isn?t anything that can legally be done to remove the men. A spokesman for the motel says the offenders keep to themselves and don't cause any trouble.
