Tourists, locals unfazed by Times Square bomb

Tourists and New Yorkers alike seemed unfazed two days after a failed bombing attempt in Times Square.

Keith Danish, who lives in the city, says there's no time to worry about "every little scare" and people just have to go on with their normal lives.

Some Long Islanders say they thought twice about making the trip into Manhattan, but decided the recent attempted attack wouldn't stop them.

"We've been talking all day about how wonderful it is that life goes on as normal," Jay Yerema-Weafer, of Canada, says. "I think it's a real statement to the people of New York."
