Flight from JFK makes emergency landing

Officials say a flight from Kennedy airport had to be diverted late last night after a passenger smelled something burning.

The United Airlines flight was headed to Los Angeles but made an emergency landing at Dulles International Airport in Washington.

There is no word on what exactly caused the smell but one passenger says those sitting in the front of the plane showed him pictures they took of flames in the cockpit.
