Renew New York discussion panel held at Hofstra

What are the biggest problems facing your family on Long Island? Today Long Island's leaders held a meeting at Hofstra to talk about what's bugging you.

The Renew New York live discussion panel created by Newsday, News 12 and Hofstra was held at the university this morning.

The discussion was aimed at educating Long Islanders about the 2010 elections and to get the community more involved and active with elected officials.

During the discussion, officials said taxes and our troubled state government are high on our list of frustrations. To see the panel discussion in its entirety, click hereYou can also watch the entire panel discussion on your iO digital cable box. Go to channel 612 and select iO Extra.
