Ward Melville H.S. on modified lockdown

There will be stepped up security at one Suffolk school today.

Ward Melville High School was evacuated yesterday after someone found a bomb threat scrawled on a bathroom wall. Police searched the building and didn't find anything.

As a precaution the students will be on modified lockdown today.

That means anyone coming into the school can only use certain doors and they will be searched.
