Second passenger of ambulette crash dies

A second passenger involved in an ambulette crash in East Northport has died.

Lorraine Shanahan died from her injuries last week just a day before her 72 birthday.

Cops say last month's crash was caused by a woman who blew a stop sign and rear-ended the ambulette as it was coming home from senior day care.

The driver is not facing any charges.

A 96-year-old passenger in the ambulette was also killed.
