Fire marshal: Baldwin fire intentionally set
Nassau County fire officials say a three-alarm blaze that ripped through a three-story mixed occupancy building in Baldwin was intentionally set.
The fire, at Grand and Prospect avenues, started at around 8:30 a.m. and was contained at around 10 a.m., according to fire officials.
Officials say at least two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
Demolition crews destroyed what was left of the building after the fire.Anyone with information on the fire is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
