Long Islanders walk for MADD

Long Island residents marched Saturday to bring awareness to the dangers of drunken driving.

Hundreds attended the MADD walk at the Farmingdale State College campus.

Many walkers said that a large part of getting people to not drink and drive is through creating tougher laws.

Many also agreed that enacting Leandra's Law is a step in the right direction. Leandra's Law makes it a felony crime to drive drunk with a child in your car.
