Man charged in murder of N. Patchogue woman

Police have arrested a man they say killed 26-year-old Jennifer Papain, of North Patchogue, who was reported missing two months ago.

Authorities say the body found off the LIE service road in Medford is that of Papain.

Chad Johnson, 22, of Medford admitted to strangling Papain and told detectives he buried her body in the woods, police say.

Johnson allegedly hired Papain for sex. Police say the two had an argument about payment before Papain was strangled and killed.

According to police, Johnson met Papain through an ad she placed on Craigslist.
