6th teen admits role in Lucero stabbing

? Another teen pleaded guilty yesterday to hate crime charges in the stabbing death of Ecuadorian immigrant Marcelo Lucero.

Chris Overton is the sixth of seven teens convicted in the case. He admitted in Suffolk County Court in Riverhead that he was with a mob that had targeted Hispanics for violence.

Overton pleaded guilty to gang assault, conspiracy and attempted assault as a hate crime. He is the fifth teen in the case to avoid trial and take a plea deal.

Lucero and a friend were attacked in November 2008.

Overton will be sentenced June 24. He is expected to receive six years in prison.
