Man accused of killing mother-in-law to be sentenced

? A Hicksville dad who murdered his mother-in-law and stabbed his wife will be sentenced today.

Harpal Hira faces 50 years to life behind bars.

Hira allegedly attacked his mother-in-law and wife during an argument at his twin?s birthday party.

In a separate case, Hira pleaded guilty to trying to hire a hitman from his jail cell to kill his sister-in-law.

Hira did not want her to testify against him at his murder trial.
