LI woman reunited with dog 4 years later

A Huntington woman was recently reunited with her dog after four years apart.

Gwynne Wicks says she got a call from the Town of Islip pound on Mother?s Day saying her dog, Cooper, who had disappeared four years earlier, was alive and well.

Wicks says a microchip that was implanted in Cooper?s neck helped the pound identify his owner. Cooper was discovered wandering the streets of Brentwood last month.
