Able-Ride cuts go into effect

? Some of Nassau's disabled residents lost the bus service they have relied on for years today.

The MTA's Able-Ride buses are no longer offering door-to-door service to many handicapped riders.

Some say without the special buses, they will be forced to quit their jobs.

The MTA says slashing the service will save them $1.2 million.
