Bomb scare at Mac Arthur Airport

A man has been arrested for allegedly saying he had a bomb on board an airplane at MacArthur Airport yesterday.

Police say 75-year-old Draco Slaughter told a flight attendant that he had a bomb in his carry-on luggage while the plane was taxiing.

Several fire engines and emergency vehicles followed the Boeing 737 back to the passenger terminal.

Police say they swept the plane but found nothing.

Slaughter was arrested and charged with falsely reporting an incident.
