1 killed, 1 missing at Cupsogue Beach

There has been another tragic day at a Long Island beach.

A third person has drowned in less than two weeks and another is still missing.

Four men went into the water at Cupsogue Beach in Westhampton yesterday despite signs warning of dangerous rip currents.

Police say two of the men were able to get out of the water when they realized the current was too strong, but their two friends did not.

Officials say 26-year-old Deng Zheng was pulled out of the water and given CPR but died at the hospital.

Thirty-one-year-old Xiangyong Chen of Brooklyn is still missing.
