Copiague man awaits fate in teen's fatal stabbing

A Copiague man will learn his fate next week in the fatal stabbing of a teen in 2008.

Investigators say Darrian Bennet shot 17-year-old Joseph Scorzelli in front of a church in Copiague during an argument over the price of marijuana.

In March, Bennet pleaded guilty to manslaughter, drug and weapons charges.

The hearing in Bennet's case was adjourned today until June 11.
