Residents in 10 LI districts pass budgets on re-votes

Residents in 10 Long Island school districts headed to the polls today and passed their budgets on re-votes.

The districts included East Rockaway, Elwood, Garden City, Herricks, Levittown, Port Jefferson, Westbury, West Babylon, West Hempstead and Wyandanch. Wyandanch's school budget passed by 16 votes, 150-134.

If the budgets failed a second time, districts would have gone to a contingency plan next year.
