According to authorities, 43-year-old Kim Wolfe shot and killed her one-time lover, 45-year-old Stacie Williams, after the two apparently argued outside Nassau University Medical Center, where Williams worked as a maternity ward nurse.

After shooting Williams, police say Wolfe drove to her relatives' Vermont Street home in Hempstead, where she shot her grandfather, Marshall Williams Sr., in the leg before shooting and killing her 56-year-old uncle, Marshall Williams Jr. Authorities believe Wolfe wanted to discuss beneficiary insurance information with her family at 2 a.m. before the shooting occurred.

Police say Wolfe then abducted her 23-year-old niece and held her hostage for more than three hours before returning to her mother's Harriet Avenue home where she was arrested.

She will be arraigned Thursday.
