Former Southampton town supervisor due in court

Southampton's former town supervisor returns to court today in a case that could be drunk driving or possible corruption.

Linda Kabot is expected to appear in Riverhead for pre-trial hearings.

Kabot lost re-election after she was charged with drunk driving last Labor Day.

Westhampton police say Kabot veered out of her lane and failed sobriety tests.

The district attorney was later asked to investigate claims she may have been set up by police just months before the election.
