Fans mark 1st anniversary of Michael Jackson's death

Michael Jackson fans around the world commemorated the anniversary of his death today.

Jackson, 50, was preparing for a string of comeback concerts starting in London at the time of his death.

Officials say Dr. Conrad Murray gave him a lethal injection of a sedative to help him sleep.

Vigils and prayer services were held around the world today, including New York. In Manhattan, fans gathered outside the Apollo Theater, where the King of Pop got his start.

Jackson's father, Joe, says the family will file a wrongful death suit against Murray.
