Bus cuts leave LI commuters stranded

It may have been a rough ride to work for thousands of commuters yesterday as service was cut on several Long Island Bus lines.

The cuts are part of the MTA's effort to close an $800 million budget gap.

Bus riders who spoke to News 12 Long Island say they now have to take taxi cabs, something they say they just cannot afford.
