Brentwood man arrested on animal cruelty charges

A Brentwood man was arrested yesterday on animal cruelty charges after his dog was seized from his home.

The SPCA says the emaciated animal was discovered at Kevin Brunson?s home on Wilson Avenue last month.

SPCA officials say Rambo, a 1-year-old Cane Corso, weighs 51 pounds when the average is 125 pounds for that breed. Rambo has since gotten emergency care and has gained 20 pounds. He is currently in foster care.
